Holiday & Cancelation Policy

Peace of mind for the holidays – Our care, your convenience

We understand that holidays are a time for travel and celebration, and we’re here to ensure your pets are well cared for while you’re away. To provide the best possible care during these busy times, we apply a small holiday fee, 100% of which goes directly to the pet sitter caring for your pet.

Just like other essential services, holiday pet care means our team members are dedicating their time to looking after your pets instead of spending the day with their own families. This additional fee helps us fairly compensate our pet sitters for their commitment and ensures we can continue providing reliable, high-quality care when you need it most.

Booking fee

$10 extra

A $10 holiday fee will be added to all visits on the following holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Labor Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

$5 extra

A $5 extra fee will be added to all visits surrounding major holidays

Cancelation fees

Non-Holiday Cancellation policy

For non-holiday requests, a cancellation charge based on the value of the scheduled visit will be applied as follows:

  • Less than 72 hours before the start date: 25%

  • Less than 48 hours before the start date: 50%

  • Less than 24 hours before the start date: 100%

Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years Holiday Cancellation Policy

For visit requests that fall during Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, or New Year’s week, a cancellation charge based on the total value of all scheduled visits (from the start date through the end date) will be applied as follows:

  • 30 days or more before the start date: 0%

  • 15–29 days before the start date: 25%

  • 8–14 days before the start date: 50%

  • 7 days or fewer before the start date: 100%
